EasyQuote

Data We Collect

EasyQuote collects information necessary to provide the quote generation service. This includes:

Account data: your name, business name, email address, and password when you create an account.
Customer data: name, email, phone, and address submitted through your EasyQuote widget by your customers.
Video uploads: walkthrough videos submitted by homeowners through the widget. These are processed by our AI and stored temporarily.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the dashboard, collected to improve the product.
Billing data: payment method details handled securely through Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

Provide, operate, and improve the EasyQuote service.
Generate AI-powered estimates from video footage.
Deliver branded PDF quotes to homeowners on your behalf.
Send transactional emails including quote confirmations and account notices.
Process subscription payments and manage your billing relationship.
Respond to support requests and communicate service updates.

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models without explicit consent.

Third-Party Services

EasyQuote relies on the following trusted third-party services to operate:

Stripe

Payment processing for subscriptions. Stripe handles all card data under PCI-DSS compliance. See stripe.com/privacy.

Supabase

Database and authentication infrastructure. Your account and quote data are stored in Supabase-managed PostgreSQL. See supabase.com/privacy.

Anthropic

AI processing for video analysis and quote generation. Video frames are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. Anthropic does not retain submitted data for model training by default. See anthropic.com/privacy.

Resend

Transactional email delivery for quote PDFs, account notices, and support responses. See resend.com/privacy.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as required to fulfill our obligations. Specific retention periods:

Videos: uploaded walkthrough videos are deleted automatically after 30 days. They are used only for quote generation and are not shared.
Quotes: generated quotes and associated customer lead data are retained indefinitely unless you delete them from your dashboard or close your account.
Account data: retained for the life of your account. Upon cancellation, account data is retained for 90 days before deletion.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated data.
Portability: request an export of your quotes and customer data in a machine-readable format.
Opt-out: unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Transactional emails cannot be disabled while your account is active.
